What is worth knowing is what you are buying. On a shared container your goods are consolidated at a depot, shipped, and deconsolidated at the far end — handled several more times by people who never saw your house, and delivered when the container is stripped rather than when you ask.
A sole-use container is loaded at your property and sealed. It costs considerably more and on a household with a lot of furniture worth protecting, it is worth asking about rather than assuming it is out of reach.
